Episode 51

#051 - "See Life as a Beautiful Journey" w/ Becca Anderson

Becca grew up in a small town in Southern Alberta and grew up quick being the second youngest of 10. After years of sneaking out with her older siblings, Becca finally got to get off the continent and visit England, where her mother was born, and open her eyes to a much wider world. Later, she would serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months in South America. Again, this would open her eyes.

Now she works in therapy, working with youth, helping them grow and find ways to love themselves. Self-soothing and self-love is a theme in this episode. Becca wraps up the episode talking about nature and how humanity’s healing will come from reconnecting with Mother-Earth.

Remember, after the show, to take time out of your day to listen to someone else. Just 5 minutes. It’ll change your life.

Alex Williamns

Alex Williamns started "My Wax Museum" out of a desire (need) to become a better listener. He'd always wait for people to finish their story so he could jump in with (what he thought was) a better story. By sitting down and listening intently to the people he knew, he discovered the AMAZING lives led by the people surrounding him!
