Episode 43

#043 - Who Loretta Can Be w/ Loretta Kumire

Chances are, you weren’t born in Zimbabwe, haven’t lived in South Africa, England, and the US. Loretta has! The craziest part? Like most of the people I’ve interviewed, she sees her life as normal.

Loretta shares the story of growing up in Zimbabwe, under the roof of a single mother who encouraged her to discover, explore, and grow. It’s not just Loretta’s mother who was like this, but her grandmother, too! Exploring, discovering, trying, growing, changing, and doing seems to be heredity in Loretta’s family.

She’s currently studying communications at BYU-Idaho and has been put in charge of developing a podcast where they interview alumni to inspire students to overcome trials, embrace challenges, and realise their potential. The podcast won’t be starting until Fall semestre, but she and I got together for some podcast coaching. (Loretta even helped edit this episode.)

Anyway! Enjoy these stories and get ready for more.

Alex Williamns

Alex Williamns started "My Wax Museum" out of a desire (need) to become a better listener. He'd always wait for people to finish their story so he could jump in with (what he thought was) a better story. By sitting down and listening intently to the people he knew, he discovered the AMAZING lives led by the people surrounding him!
